'Words from the heart' release to inspire more submissions on marriage equality

With less than a fortnight to go before submissions close in Australia's first full-scale inquiry into same-sex marriage, marriage equality advocates have called on all Australians who support equality to make their views known to the inquiry, and have released extracts from submissions already made to the inquiry to inspire others.
Australian Marriage Equality spokesperson, Alex Greenwich, said the current inquiry by the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee is a critical moment in the achievement of full legal equality for same-sex couples.
"Historians will look back at this inquiry as a turning point in the debate on same-sex marriage", Mr Greenwich said.
