Human rights campaigners around Australia will join the United States and fifteen other countries in the next International Day of Action for same-sex marriage rights on December 10th.The passage of a ban on same-sex marriage within the Proposition 8 referendum in California on November 4 has triggered a series of ground breaking protests across the United States. Rallies to demand equal marriage rights for same-sex couples sparked an international day of protest, which that occurred on the 16th of November in 300 cities, across all 50 U.S states and in a further 10 other countries.
